About Us

R.I.S.E. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to providing education, training, and meaningful employment opportunities since 2018. We have become a trusted partner in empowering individuals and communities, especially those facing disabilities. RISE was founded with a vision to create a society where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive. We are deeply embedded in the neighborhoods we serve, bringing together a diverse team of passionate individuals dedicated to stabilizing, sustaining, and empowering individuals and families. Our approach is person-centered, encompassing career education, hands-on training, and job placement services designed to equip individuals with the skills and resources they need to succeed.

Our Services

Based in Los Angeles County, our comprehensive range of programs includes career education and training, work experiences, and job placement services, all designed to help our clients achieve their full potential. To achieve our goals, we work closely with a network of partners, including government agencies, employers, educators, and fellow non-profits, to create sustainable solutions for lasting impact.

Our programs include:
Job training: Classes and workshops that teach specific skills related to a particular industry or job.
Career counseling and support: Assistance with identifying career goals, developing a career plan, and navigating the job search process.
Work placement and internships: Opportunities for individuals to gain hands-on experience and build their resumes through work placement or internship programs.
Continuing education: Classes and training programs that help individuals acquire new skills and keep up with changes in the workforce.
Support services: Assistance with transportation, child care, and other needs that may impact an individual’s ability to participate in workforce development programs or secure and maintain employment.

In addition to employment services for people with disabilities, we are committed to expanding employment for young adults transitioning from school to work, seniors and veterans.
